Double diaphragm gabion mattresses are low-profile wire mesh structures designed with internal diaphragms to divide the mattress into separate sections. They are commonly filled with suitable stones and used for riverbank protection, channel lining, slope stabilization, drainage areas and erosion control. The divided structure helps organize stone filling and maintain the planned shape across larger surface protection areas.
