Installation Process
These corrosion-resistant gabion baskets arrive folded flat to save shipping space. On site, they are unfolded and positioned on a stable, prepared foundation. Adjacent units are connected securely using binding wire or metal clips to form a continuous structure. Stone is loaded mechanically and arranged by hand to minimise large voids inside the basket. Units are stacked in courses, usually set back to create a stepped or battered wall profile. Where needed, tie-back anchors can be fitted to resist lateral earth and water loads.
